		<description>Hello,
Just logged on and read your blog, I live in france and have just bought a MF35 with a 23c engine from 1959!!! Is hard to start also, only starts with a pull from my landy. when running sounds a bit lumpy when the revs are picked up, think its lacking in compression cos the breather is blowing about as much as the exhaust. the guy i bought it of said he has reseated the valves and done the head just needs rings!! but also i have had a look and seen that no.4 injector is leaking. so before i drop the bottom end out and re-do the pistons/ring etc.. i am going to check the compression, think its normally about 350psi then want to check the timing on the pump and double check the injectors are working correctly. Are there any other things to check or does anyone now of any other major differances between the english and french version of the 23c. Just one extra thing the starter motors are not the same, but just oversize the 3 fixing holes on the new one and it fits and runs great. also to the chap with the french 1959 mf23, have you found a workshop manuel yet, if so where and how much.

thanks in advance
