FE35 Push Rod Lengths

Hi hope you can help me,

I have just been given a massey fe 35 tractor my problem is the last owner started to rebuilt it but passed a way I have refitted the head but I am stummped with the push rods 6 are long, 2 are a bit shorter any hints of the order to install them.

Thanks

I am also a bit confused by this. As far as I am aware, the push rods should all be the same length.

It could be that they are not the original push rods. As long as they have the same design of ball and cup end and there is sufficient movement on the tappet screws to adjust to the correct settings, then it should not be a problem.

Hope that is some help.

Steve.
