I have recently bought a Grey Gold FE35 and would like to put a lighting kit on it. I was wondering what the correct Grey colour was to paint the new items. I was under the impression that it was Stonleigh Grey, the same as the TE20, but it looks so dark. Is this correct?

Hi i wounder if anyone can help me. Ive recently picked up an fe35 for £300. Serial number is sdf 67325. And it was made in 1957. But i cant find out weather it should be grey an red or copper an grey. As it stands it has grey belly but ive flaked off some of the paint an it seems to be a copper colour. and same for the mudguards, they are red but underneath grey. What colour should it be :S ???

Hi, been reading the comments and found them useful on the fe and mf fergies. I have a red and grey fergie with a single ferguson badge on the front. It is petrol with push button bonnet. On the block it says made in february 57. Yet it also says on the id plate fe35. So obviously it is a mf35 instead?
They certainly have made things confusing. Thanks

I have a FE35 that my farther bought when i was born back in 1957 , it has the serial number on the right hand dash tag,SGN{?}37146 a casting date on the trans 21 5 57 ,
and an engine # SF7058ELD , it would be a DELUX as it has the live drive PTO , definatly a grey/gold , but the side badges are alloy/chrome on a silver background not a gold , as in your photos .and definatly the FERGURSON badge on the bonnet , I dragged it out of the blackberries some years ago after resting there for about 10-15 years and after towing it around with the 135 loosened it up and put fresh petrol in it and WOW!! it fired up ??I put it back in the back in the shed where it rested for a further 12 years untill taking it back to my basement where it once again fired up and runs like clock !!, and so now begins the long resto job ,Are there any other fun bits of information you can tell me about it ? Most important is a picture of what was ever on the left hand side of the dash panel ?
