Garry Beutel, between the gear box and the back axles or dif, the is a plate that when the gear box is full it flows over this plate so an equal amount between both is made, this plate doesnt go from the bottom to the top it only goes part way up, so it allows oil to fill up gear box then when that is full it flows over to the dif. i cant remeber which side of the join between the gear box and dif this plate is located, but if you ever crack your tractor in 2 you will see this plate.
