		<description>Hello all. I hope you can help me. I have owned my Ford tractor for 18 years and I need to re spray it and I want to get the correct colour. At the moment it is a darkish blue with red I assume undercoat showing through. Can someone confirm details for me please? Serial number below: Ford 3000?

The most important number is the serial number. This is printed into the plate on the dash panel - right hand side, just above your right knee as you sit on the seat.

There are plenty of suppliers of parts. Massey Ferguson still provide many of the parts if you are looking for genuine parts from their network of local dealers.  Otherwise there ar companies such as Southern Counties Tractor Spares, Agriline Products, and lots of others.

I live in South Africa and bought a MF35 a couple of years ago from a friend. It is a very old model, not sure what year, but it has an H/S/L gearlever and R/1/2/3 gearlever. PTO is engaged by a lever on the left side of the seat.

The tractor worked fine until recently, now it does not want to move even if I put it into gear, the PTO however does turn when engaged. Any idea what can be wrong?

Your help will be appreciated.

The reason for the gold paint under the grey is the tranisition from ferguson to mf where the castings were painted gold ready for use and then repainted in the new mf liverey. the last grey and gold came off the production line in 1957. 		<description>I have a David Brown 885. I changed the trans/hydraulic oil and filter and cleaned the mesh type screen. I found the fill plug for that to the left of the steering column. I need to know what the plugs on each side of the seat are for. If they are for fluid, what type? The one by the left side of the seat seems dry. The one by the right side of the seat, when checking with a screw driver has a small amount of lube of some kind. I do not have a manual of any kind. The rear hydraulics work fine now, but I am concerned about the plugs by the seat. Any help would be appreciated.  Ken</description>
