Valentine’s day will soon be here – which means it’s time to spread a little love.
Vintage Tractor Engineer won’t be giving away the usual red roses or chocolates on February 14th. No. We’ve got something much more useful than that. It’s a Dexta wiring diagram!
Jerry has updated his tractor for modern road use, adding brake and indicator lights, UK 7 pin trailer lighting socket, head lights, tail lights, number plate light, plough lamp and an alternator. He has kindly sent in wiring diagrams and some accompanying notes of how he did the job, which we’ll publish to the website on February 14th.
The wiring diagrams will be available as a downloadable pdf and should be of use (or adaptable) for the same task on any model of tractor. Many thanks to Jerry for sending this in and making it available for everyone. Just click the link in the first paragraph to go to the wiring diagram page.
If it’s a Ford no matter whether it’s a car truck or tractor it’s positive ground
