Want to check out our tractor maintenance videos? Click here to see what we've got!

Quite simply, we’ve got a video here of the Standard 23C engine, cold starting from minus 6.7 degrees C.

This is the handy work of our friend Gunter.  Gunter was working on a friend’s MF35 engine, and Gunter says…

The glow candles go 1.2 cm into the antechamber and get red-hot in 5 seconds. I’m excited . […]

MF35 Diesel In Oil and Over Running Engine

Question

My MF35 has been a joy to use for many years but is has now been parked up for some time.  I’m missing it and would like to have it back to its old self.

Back then I was servicing it and noted that the sump oil level was actually rising and getting a bit thinner.  […]

MF135 Clutch Guide, Is It Relevant To MF35 Tractors?

We’ve had lots of people asking if our Massey Ferguson 135 Clutch Guide is also relevant to the MF35 tractor, so here’s what you need to know…

The Perkins diesel powered MF35 and MF35X’s had the exact same 11″ dual clutch assembly as the early Massey Ferguson 135’s.

MF35 and MF135 Cross Shaft Arrangement

The cross shaft on the MF35 and MF135 tractors are held with bushes and sealed with ‘o’ rings.

The MF35 has two smaller bushes with an ‘o’ ring inbetween them.

The 135 has one larger bush.  The ‘o’ ring then fits to the outside of the bush, and this is facilitated by having a top lift arm […]

FE35 – Red And Grey or Bronze And Grey?

Vilhelm has sent in some photos from Sweden of his father’s FE35, which he is intending to restore and bring back to its former glory.  It’s an FE35, 23C engine and serial number SDM28837.

This serial number would date the tractor to 1957, and would also mean it should be painted bronze and grey.  The bronze […]
