Top price of £52,000 at the October Cambridge sale went to a 1964 Doe Triple D, serial number 391, based on a Fordson Super Major. The tractor was in good ex-farm condition and had been on the same holding for the last 18 years.
200 of the 320 tractors on offer were sold and other notable lots were a Northrop 5004 (£19,500), a faultless restored MF 35X (£7,200), MF 165 1,312 hrs (£4,000), 1939 Ferguson Brown Model A (£12,500), County 1474 (£20,000), MF565 (£8,000), Fowler VF single cylinder crawler (£3,800).
